Born in France to American parents, I studied literature at McGill University in Canada, then moved to Lyon. There I worked for 18 years as a highschool teacher for the Education Nationale and taught American literature in the French international school system.

As a teacher, I was not only interested in what my students learned, but  increasingly interested in how they learned. I had already studied how the brain works since my own  children did not fit into the French educational mold, and looked for ways of helping them. I realized that learning was a personal and individual process rather than a  one-size-fits-all. My teaching quickly began to integrate tools to help my students better understand their own learning process, and create a   profoundly positive difference in their self-perception.

As I became more taken with my students’ transformation, I became more and more interested and fulfilled by the impact I could have on their overall well-being.

I studied holistic techniques and began learning a variety of therapeutic approaches and became certified as a hypnotherapist, EMDR practitioner and consciousness facilitator. I chose all these techniques based on their power to make changes at a deep level.
